Two IDF soldiers are fighting for their lives on Monday 12 Tammuz, the result of a fire that erupted on the Ramon Air Force base in southern Israel late Sunday night. They sustained burns to 80% of their bodies. They were transported by helicopter to the burn center at Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The fire was extinguished by the base firefighters but not before the two sustained the serious injuries from a flammable substance. The incident is under investigation.
